Rodrigo Meirinho Morimoto, para avaliar entre as possibilidades de terreno e
optou decidindo pelo espaço adjacente ao CAIC Jovem Ailor Loterio, na rua
Samambaia.
“É o melhor lugar para a construção, visto que é bem localizado para atender
ao Monte Alegre, bairro Tabuleiro e Conde Vila Verde. A rua tem um bom
calçamento e infra-estrutura para receber o empreendimento. Além disso, é
uma área que já pertence à Prefeitura, não precisando ser desapropriada, o
que resulta em economia de tempo e dinheiro”, explicou Milton Antonio.
O projeto do prédio está sendo desenvolvido pela Secretaria de Planejamento
Urbano, e segundo o Secretário Rodrigo Morimoto, prevê ainda a construção de
estacionamento, calçadas e outras melhorias urbanísticas para o local.
O Prefeito em exercício externou uma grande satisfação em ter a Capela
Mortuária como uma das primeiras questões abordadas em seu governo. “Como
morador do Distrito, acompanho há tempo esta antiga reivindicação da nossa
comunidade, que vai agora ter um lugar digno e próximo de suas residências
para velar os entes queridos que falecerem”, concluiu.
